It never ends!!!

Congratulations to Jayne Martin (Coach Bones athlete) on her finish at the 2008 Blue Water Olympic Triathlon!!! Way to go Jayne!

Jayne moved up 10 age group slots from last year's event and moved up only around 100 or spots overall.

Great training and attitude pay off. All my athletes are doing wonderfully this summer!

Seth is an Ironman!

Seth Botwick, an original Coach Bones Triathlete, just officially became an Ironman!

Seth competed at 2008 Ironman Lake Placid. his goal was to succeed in crossing the finish line and to have a good time doing it. He did both of those things and in grand fashion.

He was accompanied by his family and personal cheering section. They battled pouring rain ALL DAY LONG to watch their hero cross the line.

Seth, I'm proud of you. You did a terrific job and now have some well deserved time off. Outstanding day!

Today Seth is on his way to Ironman Lake Placid. Good luck buddy. You are ready and have had a great season so far. Stay on track and race your race. We'll be watching!!!

Morning Swim

What a great morning! Even with all the back pain I have been in, this morning the sun was a little brighter when it rose. I was joined for a lake swim by Chad (GI Joe), JT (unnamed but working on it), Jodie (Howie), Jayne (KIA), and Amanda (unnamed but working on it).

We had a great time and there was absolutely no light at 4:50am. By about 5:15, it was gorgeous out and I had a really good time. The only things that would have made it better would have been no pain and if we could have not worked and followed up with a ride, run and a drink.

Thank you Seth for the visit while you came home to fill the moving truck. I was thrilled to be able to tag along on the run with you. The swim in the lake also brought back some great times. I miss the last few years and wish you nothing but the best with your new life in North Carolina. We hope to visit soon!
