This afternoon was the first workout of the season in the snow. We just had light flurries but it was enough to make it seem like mid-winter. Things have been tough with my back but I am doing whatever I can to keep spirits up.
I just have to keep pushing forward and drawing as much energy from others as possible.
This winter I will be an assistant coach for Grant's basketball team. I get the first few minutes of each practice for conditioning drills. I hope to do some with them so we can all get stronger. Grant's broken collarbone is healed now and he is almost back to 100 percent.
The new spinning bikes have finally arrived at the Michigan Athletic Club and they are awesome! I'm back to teaching on Tuesday mornings at 6:00am and have been trying to get in there one more day a week to strength train on them.
